Econotherm® Gas to Water (GW) Heat Exchangers
Econotherm® (GW) heat exchangers are designed to provide hot water from the waste heat in a variety of exhaust gas sources. The hot water can be used for simple pre-heating of boiler feed water or for use in process or building heating.
Available in a range of standard sizes from 30 KW to 2000 KW thermal duty they can be configured to operate in a range of environments including those not suitable for classical exchanger designs. The GW exchangers can be delivered with finned or smooth pipe options and built in copper, stainless or carbon steel to suit the specific application.
GW exchangers are offered as highly cost effective energy recovery solutions offering many benefits over alternate Non heat pipe based designs:
- Lower cost on a £ per KW recovery basis
- Superior thermal transfer ensures smaller exchanger volume and footprint
- Simple structure and passive operation deliver low maintenance and reduced ongoing operation costs
