ECONOTHERM® Gas to Air (GA) Heat Exchangers
ECONOTHERM® GA heat exchangers are designed to provide hot air from the waste heat in a variety of exhaust gas sources. The hot air can be used for a range of uses from pre-heating of furnace or incinerator feed water or for use in process or building heating.
Available in a range of standard sizes from 30 KW to 2000 KW thermal duty they can be configured to operate in a range of environments including those not suitable for classical exchanger designs. The GA exchangers can be delivered with finned or smooth pipe options and built in copper, stainless or carbon steel to suit the specific application.
GA exchangers are offered as highly cost effective energy recovery solutions offering many benefits over alternaten non heat pipe based designs:
- Lower cost on a £ per KW recovery basis
- Superior thermal transfer ensures smaller exchanger volume and footprint
- Simple structure and passive operation deliver low maintenance and reduced ongoing operation costs
